Personally, I am more worried there is a clan called "Viva CFK", if I'm guessing correctly who CFK is. Anyway, I must be playing a different game than the rest of you, because I suck at PvP and I have NEVER received any gear or prize from the Crucible (everything goes to the 2-3 best players).

I think they should put a me3 style loot system in place so instead of earing random rewards you instead get currency based on score in match and then you can use that currency back at tower to open a loot chest which then gives out the random reward. This way good players will have more opportunities to open it and bad players who stick out matches to the end will still be able to save over enough time to open it. The best bit tho is afk people get nothing. Also stops the envy rage of seeing someone else get something at the end of match.

One of the other things that makes PVP truly a painful experience is mixing PVE experience and PVP. Personally while I don't mind PVP I honestly get pretty bored with 'run, shoot like crazy, grenade, run!' rinse and repeat for hours over the same maps. Then to make it worse when you are 3v3 and the other two players on your team are L20+ because they have finished the campaign but have NEVER been in the Cruicible and you get matched up against 3 pretty much Crucible only guys (you know who you are... the ones with low Grimorie scores and only Crucible gear) it is simply a slaughterfest and no fun for either side (except for of course those sad folks who like being Cabbage Patch Assassins) and certainly means those newbies are going to pretty much hate the experience for at least the first 25 matches or so until they start to learn the maps, etc. Trust me the opposite is also true. A player I've known a long time on Xbox Live has always been a PVP guy. Loves it and can't get enough. I don't think he has ever finished a Halo campaign and really has no idea about the storyline. I challenged him to join me in some raid and he laughed and told me how he would just blow through it since 'the stupid f'ing computer will never be able to be as hard to beat as other human players'. Needless to say... since we're both L25+ we were on the 'insane' difficulty levels and he got his ass handed to him... repeatedly... I'm pretty sure if there was a Xbox award for most times reviving a single fellow player I would have won it. He just kept trying the same Rambo tactics (if you want to call them that) he uses so successfully in Crucible. Nope... PVE requires actual tactics and strategy. Overall Level - gets you all the toys, etc. Individual PVE or PVP score gets your matchmaking in those events. That way since supposedly 'leveling' advantages are smoothed away you really do match up players of similar 'experience' with that game type. Just my two cents of course.

Putting the pvp random loot generator aside, which incidentally, I believe might not be quite so random - as I believe it rewards those who don't normally play pvp with incentives for trying it. Most players gain their light levels through pve. And there's a lot of people, regrettably me included, who have very little experience of pvp - trying to improve their pvp as they know it's a path to furthering their enjoyment of the game. But I agree, something isn't working as well as it could be. What might help. Is a pvp matching that groups players through their k/d ratios. That way, the skilled guys only ever play against skilled players. And those of us picking it up for the first time, get to enjoy it because we aren't constantly having our asses handed to us... 'walking away swearing that we'll never try pvp again.' That can't be a good thing for the game. Finding a way to ensure players of all abilities enjoy Destinys pvp is vital for it's longevity. Maybe the groupings could be; k/d ratio 0-1 k/d ratio 1-3 k/d ration 3 and upwards I imagine Bungie wouldn't want to spilt players up into too many pools, as it may reduce the numbers in the crucible games. But if that is a problem, I'd rather find myself in a 3v3 or even 3v4 match with similar k/d ratios, than in 6v6 matches with widely different k/d ratios.

Here's an idea, stop complaining. Do you people really not see that this is an amazing game? Sure it has flaws, but no game is perfect. Look how far we've come as a human race, we spend our time in front of a computer screen crying because our VIDEO GAMES (something that 50 years ago, the idea alone would've gotten you thrown in the loony bin) aren't "exactly what we wanted" or "good". Stop whining, enjoy what you have or piss off.
