It looks like they moved the bonus from the patrol card to the actual locations. Go to the Locations Grimoire and look at the yellow bordered cards.

Besides I was also lucky to have taken a screen shot from the card on my phone and the bonus reads: "Additional resources are now granted for completing City tasks in any destination"" And the ones from the locations you mentioned read: "Extra materials drop from material nodes in this destination" So one is for completing the patrol missions and the other is for chests, inventory items (spin leaves, iron, etc.). * edited to include picture *

Hmmm. That's right I forgot it used to say "City tasks". I haven't really noticed a difference in gaining resources since the patch. But what resources were ever awarded for completing city tasks? I don't remember getting anything.

Yeah, I looked at what you were talking about, but it's not the same thing. Those location bonuses are about getting extra materials every time you collect materials or find loot chests. What I'm referring to are the reputation bonuses from completing VIP patrol kills. This bonus I hypothesize, because I was not able to complete it, would have increased rep from completed patrol missions. However, the bonus is removed and thus I am unable to clearly point out this, former, fact.

The original VIP patrol kills (at least the one that I saw) was for increased resources and loot drops. I got it before the patch and it certainly seemed to work. Since the patch, it hasn't seemed to changed, so I think they just moved it. Here's a link to a page that talks about it before the patch.
