The shader and the sparrow are console specific and won't transfer from 360 to XB1 or vice versa.

Then why do they show up in my inventory. It says it requires purchase but it's technically there :/

What Caelan63 said. The good news is that those DLC items are only exclusive until Jan 15th, so they'll probably make it into the game world then. Also, the sparrow your get for finding the five chests on earth has the same specs as the red sparrow, but just has a different color.

Because your character is saved by bungie, not by your xbox. That's why you can play the same character on both consoles. It's just you can't access everything your character can on the xbox 360, because you haven't got the xbox one equivalent.
