Or just make trading only within a clan and make it so you have to be in the clan for more than 2 weeks to trade. Maybe I'm just being generous but I have a bunch of exotics that will just waste away in the vault and it's a shame I can't trade them for one I want. Just my opinion.

I think a crap ton of people would scream and cry about people getting things they don't deserve (as if it would be any of their business) but personally I'd like it. I have legendary items for a hunter that my titan cannot use. I'd love to pass them to somebody who could use them. Especially if they were a clanmate.

They could also make it so you can only trade it for an item of equal value. Exotic for exotic, rare for rare, etc.
