No we can do the bounties, they just keep giving us the same stupid 3 over and over. And everyone says there's two sets... right.

I have gotten the Exotic Bounty option 8 times, but every single time it was for Invective/Juju/Thorn. I have never had the option for Pocket Infinity or Super Good Advice. I am thinking that those two are just less common by design (or bug) OR it depends on the bounties you are turning in (I usually like to do the same ones I can do quickly). Please post the last bounty you turned in when you get your Exotic Bounty. I really don't have any other constructive ideas, anyone else have one?

"Pocket Infinity" has lore linked to Venus, as "Super Good Advice" does Mars. Perhaps there is a pre-condition that must be met on these Planets (Patrols, Golden Chests, All Strikes Completed) before it is an option for reward...

Its completely random, I always turn in the easiest bounties to complete and so far I'm only missing super good advice to have the 5 exotic bounty weapons

It is odd for it to be "completely random" as I have now had NINE, 9 exotic bounties and ALWAYS only get juju/invective/thorn as options.

No, plenty of people have turned in hundreds of bounties and never received a vanguard mentor missive, so think on that before complaining that you've received the same 3 over and over.

I dont believe it is completely random. It has to do with the number of bounties you complete in 1 day(reset at 2am pst) Im not sure of the exact number but I believe it is apx 8ish. Ive gotten i believe 8 total missives now. Just pick up all your bounties and complete them but dont turn them in. Wait till the next day, turn them in, grab, complete, and turn in the new ones. I have gotten a missive every single time i have done this. and a few times where i did most of the pve and pvp bounties in one day.

In multiple occasions I turned in 10 bounties in a day and didn't get an exotic bounty. I did finally get one though, doing some Iron Banner bounties and turned in three of those and the last one, "have the highest score in an Iron Banner match" gave me an exotic finally. I think it was the RNGod giving me the nod for ruining the competition, haha!

i dunno then. I just know from my experience every time ive done what i mentioned ive recieved a missive. 2 of my buddies had been complaining they hadnt gotten one. We completed all the bounties and waited till after 2am, then turned them in and did another set and sure enough both got one. Then one of the guys repeated the process a couple nights later and got a 2nd one. So 11(8 for me, 2 for 1 friend, and 1 for another) is hardly a decent sample size, but its working for me and my friends.

Now I'm wondering what time it was when. I turned in the bounty and received the exotic yesterday... I'm pretty sure it was before 2 am but not positive. Could be you're into something. The guys from Bungie told me straight up that it's random and all you need to do is be level 20 and turn in bounties and it's got a chance to happen every time.

So there is a chance it could happen with 1, but maybe after so many the percentage has gotten high enough it becomes almost guaranteed. but i'm pretty sure ive never gotten one on days where ive done 3 or 4. it has always been days when i either had a bunch left over from the night before or days i did lots of pve and pvp bounties.

I have another post listing out that exact premise in details and was told by Bungie that isn't how it's done at the current time. You have the same percentage chance in every turn in.

I'm tired of people saying that. Who cares? It's all random so it's no reason to complain about not getting one. But it becomes a problem when it's the same over and over. Not even worth the materials. Just trying to get help, not badgered on how I'm lucky enough to get one. Please and thanks.

That's not a very solid argument on your part. My point is there are more problems than just this one with the exotic bounties. While you can't get a new one, some people like me can't get any. Many people care, don't take it the wrong way, bungie has things to fix with the exo tic bounties and it's not just one or the other. Would you rather you never get an executive bounty or that you've had the problem of getting the same one a couple different times?

I'm sorry you can't get any, but for those of us who CAN, it seems to be a reoccurring problem left and right. Not looking for a lecture from anybody, just some simple answers. Too hard?

Likewise, I have no spite at all. I just want a solid answer from Bungie saying what is going on and if it's a bug or not. It's just everytime I try to get an answer, someone has to start some kind of argument. Thanks for being understanding though.
