For Vanguard level 3 I got a legendary scout rifle that has a ridiculously long range and high zoom Scope it's basically a sniper rifle with 300 rounds. You can stand way way back and kill it with ease.
Currently this is the only thing I use a scout rifle for other than just for fun.
