Agreed
-
Did you read my post? What specifically about my idea do you not like?
-
Edited by NERD RAGE XB1: 10/2/2014 5:34:43 PMNo i didn't. And i didn't have to. You said allow trading and i am against it... In any form. Except for the shared vault on each account. Whatever clever way you think you have devised... Will be exploited by gold farmers and the game will then be farmed at all times and the loot sold for profit.
-
I don't know what I should expect. After all you do have "rage" right there in your name...
-
The "holding your breath and stamping you feet" style of argument is awesome!
-
Edited by NERD RAGE XB1: 10/2/2014 6:13:33 PMSo is the oh they don't like my post... So ill try and say something cute for internet points argument method. But no more free bumps for your shitty idea. Deuces

Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 6:24:42 PMGood bye! Thank you.
-
Trading in any way shape or form will ruin this game.
-
Why are player created bounties rewarded with used items bad? Please explain.
-
Why? Give me specifics based on the idea I posted. Let us have a well reasoned discussion.
-
Doesn't really matter, bungie has stated before there will not be trading. This thread is pointless.
-
They said a lot of things about Destiny that didn't turn out to be as they said. Things change and meeting fan expectation is good business. People want a form of trading so we are brainstorming about it.
-
From what I've seen 90% of the people are cry babies who got unlucky and want everything to be given to them. So why not add a trading system that will be exploited and essentially ruin the game for some people.
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 9:26:49 PMGive me specifics based on my idea above. I cannot defend ideas that are in your head but you don't explain. I also cannot defend other people's ideas so for now let's stick to the subject of the thread. Your tone is bitter but you aren't being clear about what is making you sound this way. How does what I suggested make the game unfair and full of cheaters?
-
Haha! Pathetic!
-
Wow. He told you why: the loot system in this game is just ripe for farming and real money transactions. They'll find/make the easiest of the bounties every time. At the end of it all, trading really isn't that important. Roll another character.
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 7:03:08 PMSo out of a Bungie created master list of bounties based on the tier of the item being donated the donator will pick the easiest and by easiest on the list we aren't saying easy. Ok. Maybe but why? The donator gets a reward in proportion to the difficulty of the bounties as they are achieved and if he does pick a path that isn't difficult for the random person who selects the quest so what? If they are that good then why is that bad? Do you just hate hard working good players? How is that cheating? Give me specifics. This is why you need to read these things before responding.
-
Why? Because you can ask a bunch of questions? Time consuming and difficult are not the same thing. Give an example of a bounty that would be difficult, so the person still earned their gear. Multi step doesn't add difficulty PvE bounties are just grinds, heroic doesn't create a challenge unless you make it a higher level too. PvP you can either get it or not, so again just tedious. Right now the only bounty giving me trouble is disassembling rare or better fusion rifles. If that's all they got, the person should just hold onto the gear.
-
Wait you can't disassemble a weapon?
-
I have to get rare or better fusion rifles; that's the challenge.
-
Wow ok, yeah that is hard
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 10:26:49 PMBounties and resource gathering isn't hard for you? Congratulations, you are a good player, but to say it's easy for me therefore it's not allowed for anyone else is not an intelligent argument. Like I said if someone finds these tasks easy that is fine. Some people are just good at games and are likely to already have the best gear. If they want to give someone else a chance at their gear why not? Why do you want to hold people back? Whether you like it or not everything in Destiny is achieved through grinding. It just is. Making people do work for a used weapon is the same process as grinding to get it in the first place. You must hate exotic bounties too huh? This model is a form of transferable exotic bounties for clans.
-
Edited by PsykhoTick: 10/2/2014 10:30:36 PMWhat? How? Exotic bounties aren't difficult either, just tedious. The bounties are dailies: tedious quests with minor rewards. Not difficult, just time consuming. Give me an example.
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 10:54:17 PMIn what I'm writing about you would be the kind of person supplying your older weapons to your clanmates. They would be earning you rep points of your choice.
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 10/2/2014 10:56:04 PMI'm going to list some things that are difficult to me. They might be easy for you but that is because you are a good player. Doctor nope (legendary AR) bounty quest Complete 3 consecutive vanguard tiger (or highest lvl allowed) strike missions without more than 3 deaths -Next- 600 head shot kills in 5 hours from acceptance of bounty. -Next- Defeat the Venus strike mission at lvl 24 or above with no deaths -next- Retrieve 10 rare engrams and deliver them to the quartermaster -next- Defeat all strike missions on lvl 24 difficulty with no hard wipes -next- Provide 8000 glimmer 12 ascendant materials 6 strange coin Optional for a ranked up version (otherwise you get a zeroed out weapon with no perks unlocked.) Hand over rare or lower engrams earned during quest Hand over 32 ascendant materials 60 spin metal 20 weapon parts Now for me with a rare weapon that would be a hard list but for doctor nope it's worth it. If you don't think that is hard enough then ok. That kind of grinding in the game will get you legendary gear anyway and under this system I could keep them and get a specific piece I want from a clanmate,
