It's pretty obvious a lot of stuff was cut. The way they promo'd the game. There were about 3 more factions than there are now. People said in those ViDoc's that they "traded" gear. It seems Bungie had a power struggle on the direction of this game (several people left Bungie or were fired). It's sad, and I would really like a statement on just what happened (not from 404anonymous). From someone in Bungie.
I don't feel like I'm "owed" anything. I would just really like to know what happened. I still love the game and continue to play it.

If you don't work there, it's really none of your damn business.
-
That's not entirely true. We as consumers have the right when there's this much bad publicity.
-
Do you own stock in the company? Probably not, which in turn means you have no reason to not be left in the dark.
-
And you must not be involved with business. There's is no way bungie hq is ok with the bad press.
-
Bad press is still press. Destiny sales have proven the game.
-
And again not grasping business. Sales are divided into quarters of the year. One quarter being great and the other 3 being terrible is the quickest way for activision to stop production of future content. And I love this game so I'd like to see that not happen.
-
I am fully aware about fiscal quarters and years, projections, and public relations. These forums are predominantly filled with people that hate this game. However, it is but a mere fraction of how many of us love this game. Society nowadays has more fun being negative.
-
Because people that hate write about it. And people that like it play it and stay away from the forums. I'm only here to waste time when I can't be playing.
-
Me too.

There's been a lot of stuff come out that wasn't any of our business as the consumer lol I'm wasn't demanding the info, but I would like for the story to come out someday for sure. Hopefully it will.

They are going to release more factions. In a recent info release when the planet Mercury becomes playable also will the faction Osiris. I do agree that this game did lack in story development but from reading the cards and all I think there will be much MUCH more
-
Yeah, I've read alot of the cards. I'm looking forward to going to Mercury, Saturn, and Jupiter, but that will probably be a few years from now lol. And by the way, the visuals on the Mercury multiplayer map are AMAZING.
-
Oh hell yeah, but I don't think Jupiter and Saturn are actually going to be planets because the surfaces are just too uninhabitable in real life. One thing I KNOW 100% will be though is, I'm pretty sure it's saturn's moon, Europa which is a completely frozen moon. I know this because there was artwork released of a fallen vandal, and a devil walking trudging through a blizzard and the fact that the crucible vanguard has due armor and so did the live action trailer Titan
-
Mercury is uninhabitable in real life. So is Venus, so is Mars. It's Science Fantasy. Anything is possible! Lol
-
lol but it's to the point where it's just impossible. Mercury is covered by 24/7 hurricanes so massive we haven't seen one even close to them in recorded history on earth and the rain is pure acid. Bungie gives EVERYTHING a reason for "Why" in their lore. So if they do or don't make it a planet they'll give a reason. But I have to say, a playable area underneath a raging category 100 hurricane would be absolutely stunning
-
Dude....it's a science fiction game. Don't over think it lol
-
Yeah but Venus also gets to 700 degrees or something similar to that due to its thick atmosphere and clouds. So if we're on Venus in sweaty suits at 700 degrees, then I think we can bare Mercury.
