No nothing is supposed to be overpowered. It's meant to be powered, there is a difference.

I agree with MCpants. Where is this law that in looting games the guns have to be overpowered if they are hard to acquire? Last time I checked there was no law book for designing a video game.

That's where you're wrong. When you play games based on looting systems there are supposed to be godly weapons and gear that is overpowered. If nothing was overpowered then they would end up with every gun having the same stats as the others. Brush up on your gaming knowledge kid.

Auto rifles in general idiot lol. The exotic and legendaries will still melt the rare and uncommon ones. And the only reason they are doing that is because they kill faster then they need too, meaning they will outgun plasma and scout rifles every time. They had the same problem in the beta. But with the auto rifle (not exotic rifle only) nerf, they will give the other gun types a chance.

I know plenty about games. But exotics are supposed to be stronger which is where saying powered instead of overpowered matters. You earlier just said "to give other weapons a chance" meaning the ar was OVERpowered. The exotics are only better based off of their unique abilities because if you'll notice the legendary weapons have very similar damage stats.

Op means overpowered. Overpowered compared to other guns. Exotics are overpowered compared to others. AR's were op bc of their damage, range, and rate of fire. That forced players to use them if they wanted to do good instead of using what they like. If you nerf the exotics then they lose the ability to overpower others. Meaning they lose the ability to be exotic. Meaning they suck and are useless to try and get when they do the same as the starting AR you get in the first mission. Exotic weapons are op. And it is a good thing.
