Let me just play devils advocate here....
Bungie wanted this to be a social game, admittedly it could be more social in game but....
A lot of people on here are speculating on the story (the bit that is apparently missing) and a lot of people are debating key aspects of the story and it almost feels as if this community is writing the destiny story as a collective hive mind (see what i did there?)working from only tidbits of information from grimoire, alpha lupi etc.
There are some very keen people here who have done far more reading than i will ever do and personally i find the story theories some of the best threads.
Therefore we are having another social experience by not only becoming legend but writing the legend.
Is this all just part of the experience bungie intended?
P.S. Deej, if you read this, please bring back the loot cave as a monthly "Hive open season" event, it needs no story it was just the most social in game experience we've had!

I would like the grimoire cards made available in game too and it really shouldn't be too difficult for them to add it in somewhere/somehow as audio logs or just make an existing character hold the ones you've unlocked for viewing purposes. Why not band the community together and ask for it? Maybe we'll get it. It sure seems like that would work better than complaining and insulting the game saying there is no story.
