Deej said and I quote "...social game..." so then if I may ask how is it social if there is no interaction with non-friends? I just soloed the weekly challenge and that doesnt bother me, yes i had fun but I would have liked it better if the "Searching in..." countdown actually ended in a decent search, not a second and a half then sending me right into the game. It seems to me(even though I love this game as seen as Im level 26) the social aspect of this game is not there. There is no difference between this game, and to say, Mass Effect 3 in the sense that there is very little player to player interaction. I am in no way saying this is ruining the game, but it is something that would make it better in my opinion but for those who don't want a more social Destiny then an option to turn it off whether it be proximity chat in general, or searching for other players to search for when doing Strikes. I encourage you to post your opinions.
Thank you,

Ahhhh ok :/ I find it hard aswell to meet new people or start a group and do the VoG or just fooling around, but Im on ps4
-
I havent attempted it since my account got messed up and lost all pf my friends a few months prior to Destiny's release
-
I feel like there is no point in even trying annymore haha, but I would love to freaking complete that GOD DAMN RAID... I really hope those group missions, raids etc will get matchmaking
-
Yeah i 100% agree

I'd like to say that without proximity chat, Destiny is an exceptionally social game. In the month or so that this game has been out, I have met upwards of 20 different people that I never knew. How did I meet them? I either met them through a friend, or just invited them to a party during matches. I play with each and everyone of them as often as possible. Control. Strikes. Vault of Glass. I meet a new person or two each day. So, saying this isn't a social game isn't entirely valid, you just need to put more effort into getting the social aspect. Which, agreed, as players, we shouldn't have to put forth a ton of effort for the social aspect, but it is what it is. And if you want that social aspect, until they get the proximity chat in, you'll just have to go that extra inch to get social. Heck. If you're on 360, hit me up and I'll do stuff with ya. GT: Mr Sqeakerz (P.S. I'm not a squeaker, I just love the irony of the name.)

Well, i have sent many people invites and not a word back
-
Ah. That does happen as well. I think people are most sociable on 360. As far as I've seen.
-
And i would like to think they are going to fix the weekly heroic matchmaking.

Maybe you didnt read their prior news updates. They said they have been working on a chat system since before the release. It will be out this year.

Okay, advanced classes have gotten me behind on my work so my Destiny time and companion time has dropped too.
