Is borderlands better?
Hi Guys,
I've played alot of borderlands 1 & 2. When borderlands 2 came out there was some complaning and such. But overall everyone seemed to love it.
Destiny is not borderlands. It's halo with loot and superpowers. And lots of co-op and raids. Also from everything we can see the game is gonna expand massivly over the coming months and years. Mercury, jupter, saturn. We already know an asteroid belt raid is coming and you can see tons of areas that will probalby expand on patrol. So why all the fustration when the game has good bones, and is clearly going to expand massivly as time goes on. All of the stuff past level 20 is meant to take tons of time becase bungie wants people playing this game years from now.
Do you guys think that if this game had more of a borderlands style loot system people would like it more? Or is it something else that has everyone soo angry

I'm really glad the presequel didn't change the base play and just built on what I think was already a great game. I really like it so far, and good Jack is still a jerk. Lol That being said, I'm not a huge gamer. I play borderlands a lot, but I play here and there on most other games, like destiny. Just enough to keep up with what my fiancé is talking about. Borderlands and Destiny are two different games! If it was possible I would love to have the best of both worlds in one game! The MMO and PvP from destiny but with the art and more developed story line of borderlands. And of course the BL humor, I'd spend my life on that game! Lol

2 RepliesI am an avid Borderlands fan and Destiny has its own style. Borderlands storyline and jokes keep you engaged better than Destiny and is simply less confusing than Destiny. Also, I hate the engrams, nothing like in Borderlands when a Boss drops a physical legendary. Nonetheless, I really like Destiny on its own merit, the factions, weapon parts, scenes.
