Things have been slowing getting better since my post two months ago. The missus is working and the doc is still tinkering trying to get me fixed up. I hope you get feeling better soon as well. Embolisms are nothing to laugh at. Big thing that keeps me going and is something to remember would be that it isn't as bad as it could be. In my case, I still have all my fingers and (if you ignore the wife on this one) most of my mental faculties, let alone I haven't been lit on fire by accident.
Point is, yes life may be a kick in the balls. Just have to realize that your balls are still attached and punch life right back. It is too short not to make something of it, be it work, hobbies, or love, do what makes you happy.
