Dear Bungie, we are all owed an apology/statement

Disregarding the whole Reddit scandal, there is still OBVIOUSLY a load of content that has been cut/changed. All you have to do is watch the ViDoc. Promises were made and things were shown that never made it to end game. Why do we get a skeleton of a game that's been at least 'in the works' since after Halo 3 dropped? Seven years is a long time. Open world? Didn't get that. Living enviornment? Nope. Epic story? Nada. This is just my opinion, for what's its worth. I can honestly say I enjoyed Destiny and still plan on playing it. But I feel cheated. I feel let down. I'm disappointed. I, as a paying customer, as a fan, as a supporter....deserve some sort of official statement regarding the obvious lack of content and broken promises. I FEEL that iam owed that much. (Also, please feel free to watch the gameplay reveal trailer with commentary on YouTube. Then please tell me we are playing a game that has not been cut to pieces.) I like this game. Its fun. However, I hate the story. The PVE content becomes mind-numbingly repetitive when there are only 6 similar strikes and story missions that all revolve around the same mechanic. the loot system is flawed and the rpg mechanics are very shallow. With that said, Bungie does not owe anyone an apology , and to actually demand it makes everyone with a legitimate complaint or criticism look like nothing more than childish entitled jerks with no lives nor real perspective of this world. Yes it sucks that content was cut for whatever reason, but that happens in almost every game/movie/entertainment product. Did they underdeliver? I would say so, and I think they misrepresented the game a bit. However, this is not the first time, nor will be the last, that a game has done that *cough Fable cough.* Every game has the legality clause "subject to change" attached to it. It is not illegal in the same way, for example, as if a car dealership sold you a car while lying about the features. Meaning, in the car dealership example you could sue the pants off of them, but you couldn't sue a game developer for not including the stuff they said would be included in the game from a video that came out a year before release. If you don't believe it, try it. Set up a class-action lawsuit against bungie about how certain cutscenes and ideas shown and talked about in year old videos were not included in the final product. You will be laughed out of court. Now, assuming the claims from reddit are true, I am just as angry about a potentially awesome original story being altered and cut into this swiss-cheese plot of a "story." However, I am not owed an apology, nor do I care for one. It means nothing to me. What would really move me is instead, maybe some free dlc as a sign of good faith. Again, I do not expect, nor demand anything like this. However, as a customer who is now fully aware of what Destiny is after playing it, such a gesture may strongly convince me to continue to support them in the future as I have no current plans to buy dlc, sequels, etc.
