Please provide proof to support your accusation that content was cut specifically to fill DLC. People DO enjoy this game, myself included. I, for one, understand and fully support the "ten year" plan that Bungie has in place for Destiny. I've done all there is to do so far with the exception of the raid, and I'm looking forward for the expansions and the content that they are undoubtedly going to be adding down the road. The game hasn't even been out a month. Give 'em some dang time.

Do I really need to dig up that tired old video or the reddit post? There are literally areas all over the maps in which you can glitch into to find locked away content. Even the trailers themselves contain content that wouldn't make any sense to cut, yet cannot be found in the current version of the game. I'd agree with you, but since you asked me, I'll ask you. Where is your proof that they intend to update the game with real content--content that isn't just a rehash of what we've all already done? A ten year plan of paid DLC isn't a plan I want to be a part of.

  • Finished areas there may be. This is a common practice in the games industry. There are many games that have released that have hidden areas not released in the final game. Bungie has content planned for the future so it behooves them, if they know what the content will be down the road, to start building levels and areas for future consumption. If, as you said, "A ten year plan of paid DLC isn't a plan I want to be a part of," then simply don't be a part of it. You are not required by law to purchase the massive amounts of planned content that Bungie will offer down the road (including, I'm sure, subsequent titles in the series). You are also not required to agree with their practices. I understand why some people my have been let down by what they thought they were going to get with Destiny. This may be because most of those people are "hardcore" gamers. These are people who finished the game very quickly and feel that they deserve more. There is a tone of content in this title for the average gamer. I finished the main story and reached level 20 very fast but I'm still finding things to satiate my time. Understand that the content structure of this game is very MMORPG-ish. That is to say that it is a slow burn in terms of content. Consume the content, level as high as you can, take a break from Destiny, then come back when new content is released. This game really is some weird new kind of genre. It'll take time to get used to it. P.S. Also, I'm sure, given time, Bungie will make all the problems and short coming of the game right. As I said, the game only released a month ago TODAY. Give it some time.

Yes, and I wouldn't expect any huge updates within the first month. What I would expect, however, would be for Bungie to actually acknowledge that the game has pretty substantial problems and that they are working on fixing them.
