I've been having this cattle problem for nearly a week now too, but every now and again if I just keep trying to log in, it lets me in, but tells me I don't have PS+, so I can't join friends and can only do the story missions... I just don't get why it lets me in sometimes.

Strange .. cause for me it's like always cattle issue, since the first time it happened around 29.09 I didn't manage to log in a single time - and believe me I've tried a dozen of times and tried all the possible fixes .. router magic, ps settings, etc. etc. .. it seems like I can't do much more, if I could get some additional port, ip info I could pass it to my ISP - but now I'm clueless
