headset on PS3 useless for destiny?

Hi community, I am wondering if it is me lacking the ability to make it work or if the game doe snot support it. Sinc ethis is a FPS voice comms is vital for the best playing experiance. My headset works fine with other games (like Dust514). So the assignment o my PS3 is fine i guess. But how do i get voice coms to work with destiny? All i hear is static/cracklings. If the anwser to my question is "not supported by destiny" thats fione. at least its an anwser. The follow up would be however, how to work around it? thanks

  • I can't imagine why your headset would work fine on the PS3 with other games then Destiny. Only thing I can think of, but that would not explain why you do hear static/cracklings, is perhaps missing out on port forwarding? Destiny has, iirc, two port ranges and one static port for the game. I have my PS4 in a DMZ and next to all PlayStation Network ports forwared to to the PS4, I also added the Destiny ports. There is a help page on the help.bungie.net site about it. It's a long shot, but might have something to do with it. Also, out of curiousity, what is your NAT Type? Should be 2 if you use a router, which most likely you are.
