Arghh why break the uneasy silence just to tell us you are indeed going to sell us the dlc that was already announced and sold??

Hey, Iv played bungie's games since halo 2 and have enjoyed them. You are by far one of my favorite developers but this game lacks a lot of things since I paid 90$ for it I have to say.... The story is so vague and uninteresting in how it's portrayed in the game. It feels like you threw it together with in the last month and hoped no one would question it. For this game to start off a amazing franchise it needs, actually it must have a really rich in game story with large amounts of in game lore. Sadly there isn't much of a story here from what I see, if I'm wrong and you know something I don't about the very near future than I'll retract this but as of right now you can't really expect this "story" to keep players interested. The fact I have to go on a companion app or website to organize people for a game or look at lore is in its self a awful component the developers are to lazy to fix. There should be a way to look at lore in game. Also a way to communicate with groups or clans you are a member of. The game didn't deliver all it's free roaming that it promised and you and I know it's to late to fix this. Just learn from your mistake and add it to next game or don't make a false statement that depresses players when they find out it's not true while playing. As content rolls out and events do as well I really would rather not want to repeat the same mission 50 times just saying, spice things up Jesus add tanks or "story" or something. the queens wrath event is a joke it's just a vendor opening up and handing out extra bounties a day. So have events that actually add gamplay not just slap fancy names on old missions. I know that's a lot to ask for 3 weeks in but players don't have much content to work with here to begin with. Also increase parties size in explore, add a harder difficulty that's optional as well so players out there get a thrilling challenge. Larger scale event maybe too idk. Patrols are pretty dead I can only do about 3 before I get so bored to the point I need to do something else cause they only seem to be gather this, kill that, assassinate that. There's no variety no challenge, add a timer cause and overflow of enemies guarding the objective or something... Make it intresting. Also add more in depth dialog I feel very detached from everyone at the tower due to the fact I don't know their background so I don't pay attention to their name, so when I go on mission and one of the npcs or vendors which they all basically are says a name or talks I have no idea what's going on. Also one last thing before I end this. Stop with all the hush hush c***. I just spent 70 or more dollars on this game cause I believe in this development team and their claim to deliver a jaw dropping game that will shake the gaming industry. Now that I have played it and like me many others have questions that are rather essential or important to know. Like why the story sucks? Why is the map not what they promised? Why does this feel so repetitive? Why do I feel like I'm playing an 1/8 of a full game? What are the future plans of this game that appears to be missing so dam much? If you're really here to listen to the community pay attention to this stuff! Provide some amount of feed back already... Me and so many other players are sitting here waiting and wondering as to what the future holds so tells us already don't just give use vague statements we already know. I also understand some of these request are rather large or hard to produce and will take a large amount of time but some acknowledgement or feedback would be great. So people like me aren't left wondering if we're heard or not. I'd honestly like a response so I know I didn't waste the last 10 mins typing this please and thank you if you'd be so kind to acknowledge this.

Stopped playing. Mixed feelings. I want to play it...but... Whats there to play at this point. Aw well. I hope bungie does something like what another poster suggested, "release the "dlc"(lol, dlc...) content each week until december," then release a coherent and full story with jupiter, saturn, and europa. Ill hapily pay $20 for that..

while you guys are fixing the story and content and reattaching all the broken strings in this game.. give us something we can venture out and do for ourselves.. CUSTOM GAMES.. id be able to sit and wait months for a fix on this if i had just something to be ambitious about and creative with.. :/

Hey deej what's it feel like to be a pegboard?

It's easy to understand, but defiantly needs a lot more plot and spice to it and to dive more Into these worlds and characters. There's so much time and opportunity so I say give them a chance to take in the criticism and work on it. One hell of a game! I love it and I can hate it, but is that not the same with most games out there?

I am also disappointed by this game. Even though I didn't follow every bit of info before the beta, I expected more from this game. It looks sooooo incredible good, I love the gunplay, mechanics etc. but I got bored after the second week. I expected the game to use the story missions to set up the universe which would then be expanded by dlcs. But it just didn't happen. Almost every NPC "could tell" me about some big battle or event in the history of this universe, yet 7 hours later, when story mode is over, I couldn't care less. It also speaks for itself, that farming the now infamous loot cave has provided me with more fun and rewards for time invested, than any other mission in the game. Even the low level enemies spawn at the same spots every time. I can now run the moon strike and tell you which enemy will spawn and where. This gets boring. I had to play Warframe for this past year mostly because Dice just couldn't get Battlefield 4 to where you could actually enjoy playing it. Warframe still is fun for me even though it's the same grindfest as Destiny. It somehow manages to keep me interested and invested. Long story short, I've learned my lesson with hyped games on PS4. I'll get the DLCs only when reviews of qualified players will recommend it. The same for any upcoming titles. No more BS.

Bungie, you got me on day one with the hype. I believed the line about people reviewing too soon causing lower scores. I bought Destiny with high hopes and encouraged my friends to get it as well. My trust was misplaced. Most reviews were fair, and the game did not change when I reached lvl 20 (now 28), it just got drastically slower and less entertaining. It has potential though, so here is my offer. I did not pre-order the DLC. I will not buy it or any further Bungie releases if reviews indicate the story is still absent, the tasks are still mundane/repetitive and the drops are still not rewarding by the New Year. Is it unfair for me to base an ultimatum on your "work in progress"? Perhaps, but no more so than it was unfair for me to pay $60 for unfulfilled promises and an unfinished game presented as a full release.

So Deej here we are and I'm going to tell you and Bungie what I really think about Destiny. It is a really beautiful game, it looks like nothing anyone has seen before and feels great, really!! But... there are too many things that I'm sorry aren't working. I wasn't bring at this game from the hype train, I can say that I was on the guide of that train because I was sure of the greatness of what would have come from your (Bungie) hands and computers. I am a simple person: I fell in love with your real child, Halo, because it was a story, the incredible beginning of a world. That game felt like a beginning and whoever played it can say that it cannot be forgotten. Destiny felt like nothing. Where did you leave that "be a hero" that you spoke about for so long? I didn't even understand why my guardian did every mission you led me through, they were completely unchained and you managed the incredible task of not explaining anything about your beautiful ideas for this new universe. Seriously what were you thinking when you came up with the idea of this campaign? I am speechless.. You felt the infuence of activision and concentrated your resources on the pvp part? You better had published something smaller but more refined and expanded it later in that 10 years in which, as now, I can't think about what you can add to a game that is a so shallow an unsecure base. Activision is the prophet of bad realised games since 2010!! Why could it put its word in your creature? I know what its done its done and as an incredible fan of yours I hope you never read what I wrote here. But seriously guys get your shit together for the future. I hope that you hear what your community is saying as you promised. Bungie be really brave.
