I managed to get mine sorted. Turned out it was the internet set up in the browser that my BT router makes every device go through. Because i hadn't opened up internet explorer and done it on the xbox it wasnt connecting anything. Did that and now its sorted. Sorry for such a late reply, hope you get yours sorted :)
