I got my $60 worth. If they left all that content in We'd be paying over $100. I'd rather just go with $60 and pay for more content later.

  • Understandable, but I want the opposite. I would have preferred they release one big massive game and say our game is so awesome it's $100. Because I trusted Bungie like a moron, I bought both DLCs when a bought Destiny. I'll guess I'll farm shards until December. Lol.

  • Well for me the basic copy and dlc did/will cost me 146.21$ on the 360 seems pretty much like a money grab to me.

  • they have made their money back already meaning if you include all of the current content that is complete at this very moment and the sale price of $60 the books work out fine

  • Most games that come out now have more content available, at launch, than this. Most games that came out 10 years ago have more content available, at launch, than this. While I understand the point of staggering content in an MMO, I don't understand staggering the inital storyline so that we actually know what we're doing and fighting for. I'm not going to read a -blam!-ing card on a website that's vague as -blam!- just to understand. Who are the Fallen? Where did they come from? What about the Cabal? The Vex? We still have no idea who they are or why they do what they do. Where did Rasputin go? We went to the moon after the last mission that mentions Rasputin, but after that, nothing on the warmind. How on earth does Guardian know so much more than me when that information was never given? How did on earth did Ghost and Guardian build a relationship so quickly when they almost never talk and Guardian only has a few one liners? There's a lot more missing here than just area. There's very little background or suspense. Guardians are literally running around doing whatever because there's no impact or emotion. What's the motive of the Awoken Queen? What about her, as yet unnamed, brother? Is he Crow? Doubtful. Where is Crow anyhow? This "Speaker" is awfully silent and when he does spout his few lines, he's cryptic. Who? What? Why? Where? How? Those are the questions.

I've paid the same amount for smaller games 15 years ago. I don't feel I'm in any postion to complain.

  • Dude, Halo 1 had more content. Unless you're counting graphics as content.

  • I replayed it recently and it feels a lot smaller than Destiny imo.
