And Bungie couldn't come up with something like that, with $500 million invested in this? ....wow... Anyways, if it's anything that we've all learned from this game, it's how to avoid explaining yourself. For those of you who have kids (I babysit on the weekends) When they ask WHY* to anything or are looking for an explanation... Do the DESTINY on their little asses; Option 1... THE SPEAKER's ROUTE - "I COULD* go into detail about this... I COULD* tell you why this is or isn't..." Option 2... The female helper route. "I don't have time to explain to you, WHY I don't have time to explain...." BOTH WORK PERFECTLY, although I don't see how $500 Million dollars was needed to come up with something so simple...

  • Haha One of my fav awkard lines... Stranger to the Guardian: "You're interesting, not entirely interesting, but you have promise." We'll see about that, I don't find myself very interesting so far, maybe later? Maybe with those new boots and scarf?

  • ...Also the budget came nowhere near $500 million in the end. Even that piece of infomation is old news and I'm tired of having to spread it. Stop latching on to that idea, it's not true.

  • Sure thing,.... And how much of the profit of this game did Bungie extend to you?

  • ..do you not read gaming news..? I'm surprised I have to defend this. Please, just know what you're talking about before you clatter out some inane rant directed at people with the same searchable resources you have.

  • Here's the thing, Jethro, and I'll make this quick so you can get back to making your moonshine. The amount spent to make this game is irrelevant due to its progress now and how the gamers feel. So spare me your actual moneys spent b-s. It doesn't truly matter. They cheated the gamers. That is what matters. Did gaming news say anything about that?

  • If it doesnt matter, why did you include it in your argument as if it had some sort of clout? I'm not saying that people don't feel cheated. I'm sure lots do feel that way. I'm simply saying that if you're going to use information in your argument that appeared important to you a little while ago you should probably have correct information. Telling me it doesnt matter now doesnt change the fact that you used it as if it were real evidence. Also, you seem pretty emotional about this, what with the irrelevant derogatory remarks. Is there a reason you're projecting it upon me?

Just teasing hero... Calm down. IF your name is REALLY Jethro and you actually DO* make moonshine... LMAO Sorry? You can't be serious though, about feeling that you have to defend ANYTHING with this game. And if the ONLY information in my argument that is a slight off is the correct dollar amount GUESS WHAT - whatever they reported probably isn't 100% accurate either. Some of you guys act as if by defending ANYTHING with this game, Bungie is going to come and knock on your door and give you the release codes for the locked content. And even if they did - what would you really have gained? I means seriously.... I'll wait.... ... Okay - I admit - if the money(s) earned with this game is/are incorrect on my part - then . . . . . okay? Does that change ANYTHING about this game?

  • Heh, no Im not offended because like I said it's irrelevant. You're right in that, no, it doesnt change how the game turned out, but we're in a unique position to spread information socially, and spreading misinformation only leads to people understanding less and less, because if they see it posted enough times they won't research it themselves, they'll just believe it. What it boils down to is that really I'm not defending the game in this argument, I'm technically defending you and other players from sharing misinformation. ...This wasnt supposed to become so long-winded. As I said, it's old news.

  • Actually, Bungie did come up with this. The post is inspired by a line said by Sgt. Johnson in Halo 2.
