READ BEFORE POSTING: This video does not claim that these "parallels" are "intended allusions". This means that as a Christian, I saw some parallels and hoped the community (of all religions) might find them interesting. The point of this forum is for others to come and share parallels between THEIR beliefs/outlook/religion and Destiny. Religious debates should be handled in a different location. Thanks for participating and stay positive! :)
Edit: Destiny seems to call upon many religious sentiments within its story. Post Religious Parallels between Destiny and your beliefs here!

Edited by Luvabitch: 9/27/2014 4:51:43 PMThat Spinning circular Shrine of Oryx is definitely alluding to the Kaaba located at the Great Mosque in Mecca. The Fallen seem to be Zionist Jews. The gamealso has an surreptitiously dark tone. For instance, you play as a Warlock and you slay Wizards. Etymologycally, the term "wizard" has always had a positive connotation while the germanic warlocke, always had a negative association. All the "Light" talk is also reminiscent of Gnostic interpretations of the bible, which deify Lucifer, the promethean light-bearer, as the good guy and Yahweh, the old testament God, as a jealous and vindictive lesser God and not the Creator.
