Where is this at? Only decent place to farm I know of is the rocket yard....

Where you first spawn in the cosmodrome, drive directly to the back wall and walk along it and face the building where the fallen come out. The crashed ship should be to your right about 45 degrees. There is a spin metal there that glitches, or maybe it's on purpose I'm not sure. But when the shadow of the wall is about to the first rock until the time that the shadow is gone, that spin metal will be glowing like when you take it. If it is not already glowing then it's not in re spawn mode. When you take it, the glow will remain and the reddish base will disappear as well (when you normally take spin metal there is like a red canister thing that remains). After the spin metal is gone, the glow remains and after about 30 seconds to a minute you will hear a whoosh sound and it reappears. It will keep doing this and you can get about 20 of them before it stops. I've gone back several times and 3 of those times it's done this at that time of the day cycle. I saved the video with the save video feature and will post it when I have time to edit through my capture device.

I'm working on finding the video for you, I realized that I have a ton of 15 minute videos from pushing the save video button and sifting to find which ones are the right ones is pretty tough since they are all titled: Destiny 9/21/14" or some other date and time and I can't remember when I recorded it.
