Microtransactions will never not be a huge negative. You sound like you work for Activision dude.

No, he sounds like a consumer who's capable of deciding how he wants to spend his own money. I'd rather spend a couple of bucks on some of this cosmetic stuff than spending dozens of hours grinding for it, and then I can focus all my time in the game working for gear instead of shaders and sparrow skins.

Bank space, sure, why not. But this game is going to wind up with microtransactions. It's inevitable. As long as it's just for cosmetic stuff, I don't really care.

Generally, I'd tend to agree. As long as they don't adopt the Mass Effect multiplayer model, and stick with completely optional, unnecessary cosmetic stuff it won't be the end of the world.
