Can't agree more what the heck the point of playing the same run down boring missions for a hundredth time just to get more weak good for nothing hear this HOT FIX ruined the little bit of fun that was left in this game

I must admit naively I thought these missions would be set on the reef and perhaps stop some of the constant whining here as I believed there is a great game in there somewhere. Destiny is starting to loose me as a player sadly I don't see myself playing the same missions over and over. Even more disappointed to see the other classes have exactly the same weapons come on that is basic stuff

Artificial padding at it's finest. I've heard of 'filler content' and 'filler patches' but this doesn't just take the cake; it takes the whole bakery. Kill 200 Fallen? Kill 200 Fallen with headshots? Kill a mission boss on any difficulty? Sorry but these are just inexcusable means to have people grinding for a faction that's available for a limited time with rewards that you're very unlikely to get in its duration this time 'round. I was willing to accept the grind for the current 5 factions until new content was delivered, but just having another faction to grind for is inexcusable when you're almost certain not to get anything out of this. And don't give me that pony about "wait until the 6th of October because not all the bounties are out yet" - we should all have been playing games long enough to know if content will get better or not later down the line. I don't trust Queen's Wrath to deliver in the few weeks it's available; I don't trust it to deliver any time it returns. Please Bungie, I [i]implore [/i]you, prove me wrong. I could've looked past the flaws of these bounties if we had to go to the Reef and got a new cinematic where we meet the Queen, asking for our aid and what we'd get in return. A new planet on which to do these bounties (might as well call them daily quests - they have the same feel) wasn't something I'd expected but would've been massively appreciative of, but no, these are just more of what we're already doing, but for another faction with fewer rewards and less time to get the reputation in. It's a shame because I really looked forward to Queen's Wrath - she's one of the most interesting characters the game has to offer. That's not much considering she, the Stranger and the Speaker are the only ones of importance with equally bad lines, but how she came to rule the Awoken and the Fallen House is so intriguing! This was Bungie's chance to show that they had human beings writing their in-game material, but alas, it was not meant to be. EDIT: Forgot to add one more thing that was pretty decent: the daily Queen's Wrath story mission. Loved the difficulty and the certain Legendary item drop. I wholly recommend that mission for those who keep getting burnt by the Cryptarch with Legendary engrams. Was fun, would do again. Only one problem: it's missions you've already done, probably more than once.

I just got a legendary ship as a reward for a Queen's mission. Guess what? It's the exact same ship than the usual ones, exept that it is freakin' purple!! Seriously Bungie, are you going to take every single item from that game and just duplicate them just changing the color?!

Queens joke i usually say the game is good for new start but adding the Queens wrath with no new mission no new content "sux". And about this legendary gear drop 100% fine but getting the same chest piece 4x in a row redic. thanks for the boring grind, Thanks for the dimantlers badge if i did not need the shards for my real gear i would not play it!

Dude? Did you even DO one of the bounties? Handing in a bounty gives you a queens wrath card in your inventory which allows you to play a random story mission per wrath card with enhanced modifiers to increase difficulty. The payout for completing these missions is legendary armor. 100%. The point is to give you legendary armor is slots you might have trouble getting it in (such as in my case) or to allow for dismantling to give you ascendant materials for upgrading existing legendary gear, since those are incredibly difficult to collect. On top of that it provides a new faction to earn reputation for and buy unique weapons shaders and emblems from. All with the added challenge of trying to get as much as you can before the event expires. Maybe you're a stranger to MMO's but this is how the community in MMO's are challenged. Timed events with exclusive gear to incentivize players to earn it as fast as they can. Go back and try to actually see the event the entire way through instead of opening the bounty tracker, taking one look at the bounties, and then immediately raging on the forums. Also stop comparing this game to Halo. Do you see "Halo" anywhere in the title? Did you ask for "Halo" at the counter and get handed this game instead? Did you mean to grab Halo from the shelf and grab Destiny by mistake? No you didn't.

The saddest thing is that Advanced Warfare will probably have a better story than Destiny has without the chopped off story dlc.
