Ok that's all done but is there a way to know if others are playing without friend requesting everyone in clan? I look on roster and it says what clan I'm in but doesn't show if other members are playing....I suppose it would only work if they were close to me. I've noticed most people on maps are from around my area.

No you have to add people as friends. Bungie doesn't have a clan roster yet and I don't honk this will happen due to the fact that there is no cap on the number of people you can have in your clan. You have to manually add players it is kind of an young but once you add a few you can start playing with others in the clan and add them within the game! Have fun and enjoy the clan!
