The Strike on the Moon, Summoning Pits, is the only thing that really needs to get nerfed. You know, the one with Phogoth. I was level 24 and two of my friends were 25 and 26 and it took us many many tries to beat the level 22 heroic. We are all pretty good players too, working together and coordinating our attacks. The sheer number of Major Wizards and Knights are just ridiculous especially considering how far apart the cover is and how hard Phogoth hits. Of course this is just my opinion and I may be missing something, but that strike was just damn frustrating.

Also, one recommendation i have is that during the boss you have to stay mobile. Keep moving constantly. Plus his weak spot is the blue thing on his stomach.

sorry if i come across to high and mighty here but i pulled of that strike on lvl 22 by my self and i was a lvl 24 with no legendary or exotics so if i can do it solo then im sure you guys can too you just need to learn his attack pattern, all the strike bosses have a strike pattern so once youve learned it you can take him on easily solo to. and i wont be passing on my tactics because the point of the game is to discover it all by your self or with your party... the game is in the discovery not the walkthroughs

Now I'm complaining!!! I like being challenged bungie, especially when it's with other players trying to work together using strategy and tactics. You don't really see that in other games. Everything is easy mode on hard setting now. Please don't fall victim to the people trying to ruin this game. It needs more(ship combat, racing, etc), not less (removing majors)

I beat summoning pit when I was level 16 with another person a level 16

Well i managed to clear the summoning pits Alone with the heroic modifier on lvl 24 im lvl 26.

Lol @ heroic 22 being too hard on the summoning pits. Wait until you get the exotic bounty for thorn, and you have to do the epic modifier for summoning pits. You will cry and quit. Took me and another guy about two hours to complete.

You can do it solo. I even got the no dying trophy when soloing it. You have "exploit" line of sight and despawns. I get why ppl want to do it as they should, but when you don't have any friends left on old consoles it's not easy ;)

No, May its difficult but i dont think so, Me and one of my friend did the weekly on LvL 26 and we aere only LvL 27. And it was very funny

I just beat it in the weekly strike earlier today because it was part of an exotic weapon bounty. I beat it alone... It didn't take very long.

You just have to stay on the ground level. No balconies or far platform at the end of the map or spawn room as those will spawn mass amounts of adds. Just run a circle around the edge of the boss area on the outside of the pillars. Go up to the upper level where you enter the chamber when you reach that area and back down the other side. Rinse and repeat. Stay apart, don't group up and everything should be manageable. Downed the level 22 daily with two 25s and a level 20 on our first attempt. Just trying to dodge and burn with two 25s and a 21 failed. Which means it's doable you just need a proper strategy.

That literally is the easiest strike. My fire team got the no dying achievement on that one on lvl 24. Not hard

Are you kidding me?! thats the easiest strike for me to complete! my buddy and i at level 24, just the two of us completed that strike without dying at the level 24 difficulty in less then 40 min! you obviously arent near as good as you think!

noooo please don't nerf it ...really its not that hard just need to learn how to do the fight....i tell ya on nightfall weekly summoning pits is the most fun experience ever lol

Lol you can't be very good players then. My two friends and i beat te level 22 when I was a level 21, one friend was level 20, and one friend was a level 22.

The only problem we had on the weekly strike were the wizards, other then that it wasn't too bad. All 3 of us were above level 25.

Finished this solo as a weekly strike to get my Invective shotgun. It's tough but as said. Clear mobs and stay mobile until you are ready to attack. 25 hunter

There's already a strat to do that fight easily. Id look for that on YouTube or reddit, it'll make your life easier.

It's pretty easy tbh. Just kill all the mobs first. Big guy won't come off the chains until you attack him. Just clear out, then attack him. Hide from his attacks behind rocks/walls. With 1 team mate you can alternate his fire between the two of you. I've cleared this about 5 times this week, lvl 25 titan with as low as lvl 20 helper.

If your having trouble if 3 of you are playing when you get to the boss if you run all the way to the left once you get to that small rock turn around and jump to that cliff of rocks behind you let 1 person stay there and duck down and let the other 2 work the enemies you can beat it with no problems your gonna see a little hole in those rocks every enemy will ignore you except a couple of nights that come out on the ledge above you we did the level 26 and the run to get thorn sometimes the other enemies don't spawn and it's extremely easy
