Curious, why don't people just " farm " by playing missions? You still kill things and have a chance of " winning " your obsession. Or is it just that people are to impatient, obsessive and hugely lazy that they don't want to spend time playing and having fun for that game changing digital content?

Which at level 26 is slim to none I've yet to find Armour better then what I'm wearing from cave, mission or strike. Point in fact 95% of any blue engram that drops I a green item and 100% of the purple ones ( four out of four I've found ) were coins if/when I go to the cave it killing time while waiting for one or more of my friends to complete what ever task they are doing so we can group up and do strikes or pvp.

On a further note I've maxed my crucible and vanguard point Until Tuesday ( day they reset) so I am currently unable to buy any thing else from dead orbit atm and it's the vendors in the tower (faction, vangaurd, crucible) that will give the best gear to begin with (exotics not included)

Only they don't have to move an inch. I would be bored out of my mind doing that personally. I farm hard missions myself. Keeps me on my toes :P Downside to that is those people aren't going to have rep with any faction.

'hugely lazy'? What, it takes getting up off the couch more often to play missions than farm the cave? You're a complete and utter tool. You honestly believe that people with better gear than you are somehow lazier than you.. Amazing. Keep going, would like to read more

I literally had a player claim that the efficiency of the act made the act justifiable. That seems to be the reason players exploit to gain rewards they otherwise couldn't.

I completed your dare four years ago and don't see the correlation probably because the correlations you found are based on faulty ideas of what the argument is that players are having.

I killed thousands and thousands of hive, have completed every strike multiple times.. You think your one wittle accomplishment puts you anywhere close to my level? You're a loser. You will never keep up with people who earn their keep and you think you deserve the same payout. You're probably a waste of time but this might help.

I appreciate your insight but am completely befuddled as to what you mean by anypart of what you wrote. I never said I was entitled to any rewards, simply a fair game where players can't get ahead by exerting less effort than players who farm legitimately - did I say that I accomplished something? Is your level suppose to trump rational thinking? I'm very confused.

30 hours legit = ALL my legendaries 20 hours farming = NONE of my legendaries I dare say it isn't less effort for more gear... Is it also unfair that I saved 3 hunter pieces for an alt? Is that unfair to hunters who actually had to obtain gear on their own?

You only provided evidence which furthers your own stance on the issue - what about the glimmer players make especially with consumables, what about the higher opportunities they have to level the Cryptarch?

Whatever. Its opportunity cost. I could be farming rep and marks for guaranteed gear. Also bungie doesnt care or they would have hotfixed it days ago. They also dont care that we can solo the weekly by hiding in the side room. Have fun hating what other people do with their copy of destiny and their time.

More than anything, I'm confused as to where this jokers hostility comes from. Is it because he's behind the Internet? Did he get bullied in school? Or Maybe he was beaten as a child. Whatever the case I feel strangely sorry for him. To lash out at complete strangers must take some deep seeded trauma. Hmm hope the game at least makes him happy because It would be sad to live life so angry. Report/mute move on.

Hmm that's a way to look at it. I guess that could be applied to a lot of life situations. Like just cheating on your wife rather than getting a divorce. One way seems much more " efficient" to obtain the end result. If you don't care how another human feels about it. Interesting thought.
