I'm glad you brought this up because I was thinking something very similar to this but just wasn't sure how to say it. You always hear about the people of the City and though it is obviously quite vast from our vantage point on the Tower we never really see what we are defending. It wouldn't be a bad thing at all to at least get a glimpse of it in a few cut scenes or even explore some of it as a public area. I like this idea very much and would love to see it implemented.
