I don't think its cheating, I think its pathetic, games are meant to be played to have fun, not turn into a job to increase some number, all for a shallow bragging right you never really earned.

Edited by GenesisNynja: 9/20/2014 9:20:52 PMI have the WORST luck with RNG. I picked up 10 legendary engrams, got 10 rares. My friend picked up 5, he got 2 rares, 2 legendaries and an exotic. After logging dozens of hours and not getting even 1 legendary from an engram while watching all my friends who've played less pass me in level by random luck, I decided to farm. In 2 hours I had 3 new legendaries. IMO farming is completely fair for the people who want to put the effort in, and the people who get cheated by the RNG lords.

It is kind of lame. I earned my legendary gear from the crucible or Stokes etc...you got yours by shooting at a cave for 3 hours. They are both technically farming but anyone can see the obvious difference despite that.

I've boughten majority of my gear. The only reason I farm is when I'm out of bounties and want to level up my gear. Everybody sucks in the Strikes playlist so I dont even bother with it.

Getting legendary gear from crucible is pure luck. Don't try and get on a high horse since you played 100 PVP games to maybe get a piece or engram.

I just think sitting in front of a cave for 3 hours killing weaklings to get high level gear is just lame, and boring. No superiority complex in sight. People need to learn to read posts correctly and not skim it and then respond. If that's what you want to do, go ahead. I just want to have fun and get cool gear doing it. Farming a cave if weak enemies for a couple hours is not my idea of fun.
