This war between farmers and hardcore elitists is pointless.
Everyone can do whatever they can as long as it's within the games boundaries to obtain what they need.
There's absolutely no point in caring about anyone else's progress but yours. Go your own pace, and do whatever you feel is necessary to do so.
Don't pay attention to how anyone else goes through this process because you'll be frustrated for no reason at all.
Do all of the above and the game will be much more enjoyable for everyone. This applies to every MMO including Destiny.

This is very well put. If something doesn't affect you, don't get involved. Let other players do what they want to do when it makes no difference to you in game.

If you remove the FPS part of destiny and turn it into a hack and slash, it pretty much turns into an MMORPG.

But how many normal platform RPGs use a shared world...that's what takes this from RPGs to mmo...not to mention the raid and dungeon elements in the strikes and vog...either way I don't see why it matters if it's a RPG or mmorpg it is it's own game which is pretty nifty if not frackin amazing

People like to justify themselves, and bash anything that they don't themselves do. Hence console wars etc. It's why I liberally use the 'hide' feature on this site to block threads, and also mute dumb users, it makes the forums that much nicer.

Well at least we can assume the farmers are the ones with mmo experience...but ya kno that kinda makes us super nerds lol...I think I'm gonna make a t-shirt
