I think the worst part of all of this is that, apparently, ebola still has no known cure. If a cure existed, this problem probably could've been solved in like a week, at the longest.

While no known cure treats, a proper course of fluids and other IV treatments can radically increase the odds of survival. The largest factor is that the nations affected do not have these necessary resources. Additionally this outbreak has lit a match under the butt's of certain parties, and a vaccine is being developed quite rapidly. It's already progressed to human trials.
