17 RepliesI was [i]so[/i] ready this week for Xur. I'm so happy right now, it's ridiculous. I bought Gjallarhorn and wholly [i]love it[/i]. Dat Tracking perk, doe. <3 It's potential is seriously amazing. First exotic weapon was a good one! ...Uh, also, not to make anyone jealous, but... >buys Gjallarhorn from Xur >goes patrolling to test it and do some bounties >completes them >goes back to Tower to redeem rewards >gets an [i]exotic bounty[/i] Currently attempting to get Super Good Advice. Two Exotics in one day is totally possible! I also have 7 Strange Coins left, gonna try to get 6 more by the end of Saturday to get the chest piece for my Hunter as well. By that time I should have my Dead Orbit rank up to 2, allowing me to be fully decked out in all legendary and exotic armor, as well as have 2 legendary weapons and exotic weapons. The Vault of Glass is calling my name, and soon... [i]very soon[/i], I will answer the call.

Sweet! I have 14 strange coins! any one know how good those Sparrows are. I might just save up for one but I do need a good exotic helmet.

Thank you for this. I found someone with the Titan helm and if anyone cares, it's a Striker helm. So I won't be buying it :-( Maybe I'll get the Rocket launcher...but I already have a legendary machine gun that I'm very happy with. So maybe I'll save my coins and see what is available next weekend.

14 RepliesWaiting for Xur to sell the Sword of Crota........but on a serious note am I one of the very few people actually happy that the Warlock gauntlets are for sale again since some of us couldn't afford it last week? Don't know why people who already have it are upset. It's not like you can wear more than one exotic gear.

I bought the exotic armor and it appears as if it's only for hunters. I didn't mind scrapping it. 2 ascendant shards were well worth it. I'm not doing another character. Titan 4 Decade

Got a nice chest piece for my lower level Warlock with an exotic engram. Nothing for my 27 hunter, but brought the warlock to 24!

Thank you for posting this. I get why some people are upset they didn't get the exact epic gear they wanted for their class but ill tell you when I got Young Anashamalamadingdong Hunter gloves when I was on my hunter, right after getting a legendary set of gaunts for a hunter... I simply was stoked my hunter would be ahead of the game when I rolled him. I just hope Bungie doesn't bow down and start an auction house or trading. If we did do trading, I would like to see it ONLY with those people who were in the fireteam you were in after you GET and decrypt said items. (IE, im in a group with a hunter and lock, I get a purple engram and get a lock helm... let me trade it while im still in the fire team to my lock buddy) They still have a story, it would push blended groups and not perpetuate an auction style or open trading system. Anyways, thanks again for posting this, maybe next time with some pics? :)

5 RepliesIn my first hand experience id have to strongly suggest you do not buy the exotic engram. Being a warlock i ended up with hunter chest. Deleted it :/ The exotic rocket launcher is great for PVE. Struggling to upgrade it but well worth it. I also have both Red Death and Universal Remote exotics, both great guns if used correctly. Red death is strong in PVP, and Universal Remote combined with a good sniper makes you a formidable opponent at any range. In terms of the sunslinger gauntlets, if you play PVE they are fantastic. Combining your super with them grants longer grenade flare/burn and really decimates tough enemies. If you're a PVE player using sunslinger id strongly suggest getting them.

Bought two engrams, got hunter lupi chest and armamentarium titan chest (I'm a warlock) Glad to see the sunbreakers back but I already had those from a blue engram I decrypted, so nothing new for me :( Titan is happy for the chest though, gives extra grenade.

9 RepliesRemember everyone. His stock changes every week. So if you're not 100 percent blown away by anything here. You could wait a week and see what he has then. By then you could have enough coins to buy two things. (Definitely getting that sparrow upgrade soon) But. Exotics, gotta have em now. Right? Oh, and if anyone has the balls to buy the Engram. Please share the results. I have this glimmer of hope that Xurs exotic engram actually has a 100 percent chance of being an exotic armor piece (But still probably randomized for classes) I'd get it but I have purple chest-pieces for my characters already.

That warlocks get another chance to get the gloves they had last week and I was hoping he would keep the hunters helmet cuz all the 58 blue helemet engrams and 22 leg helemet engrams I had gotten all turned out to be shit and I need a leg helmet or better I can't even level past 26 .... Been this level for a full week now xur should add on stuff for 4 weeks then when the 5th week comes? He starts all over again adding more stuff each week then resets

Ughhh... I bought the exotic engram hoping for some Warlock gear and of course I got that ugly as sin Hunter chest armour that he is selling. I must have been horribly cruel in a past life.
