The second you were able to interact with real people over the internet while playing a game is when it all started going down hill but it my personal opinion console gaming died when the party system was introduced and learning team work and socializing became obsolete. also it really dose not help with the new types of games and industries that we need to deal with now. These days its all about the graphics and making money nothing else really matters to much so people eventually start seeing this and get pissed off. Another thing is as people started to get older they wanted more from their games and started to see them differently than when they were 12. So its not even that their expectations are high but they are realistic for their age group. for example when I was 15 i remember playing halo all day and night and when I play it now i get bored after and hour or so because I realize there really isnt a point in doing the same thing over and over and people feel the same way about destiny.

  • I take no friends into the drift. Aside from my brother, who's on Xbone anyway, my whole friends list is from this forum, and meeting in game. I feel ya on Halo. Loved Reach. Played H4, then Destiny Beta, and Reach isn't fun anymore. BO2 is kinda fun cause its new for me, and I can play with roomies, but Destiny is great.
