Because item trading is such a hotly contested topic, I thought it would be a good idea to poll the masses. I'll briefly explain what each option means.
Option 1 (unrestricted): any and all items may be exchanged between players. This includes Legendaries, Exotics, Strange Coins, Engrams, the works.
Option 2 (restricted, my personal opinion): item trading is restricted to certain items. I find this to be a happy middle ground between Bungie's stance and the player's requests. In keeping with Bungie's "earn it" mentality, Legendaries, Exotics, and other high-rarity items would be non-tradeable. Others, like resources and uncommons, would be.
Option 3 (none): current system. No trading at all.
So. What's your opinion?

I originally thought that I would want to have some sort of trading system but after playing the game I changed my mind. I really like that you have to earn what you get. I don't like how "random" the drops are, how "random" the decrypts are, or independent of any other factor either are. I have been a Level 20 for a week now and I have not gotten anything even close to what I had when I reached 20, much less better then. Patrols, Strikes, Campaign, Crucible, Farming.... It doesn't matter. All I get is $#!T. Legendary decoding to common, rare decoding to materials, and metric ton of uncommon drops to feed the glimmer grinder. It is getting old. But, I still wouldn't trade it for a trading system. Sorry if seem to be ranting a little. It's a rather touchy subject. When I get my things, in game and in life, I prefer to earn it with my own labor. It cheapens things considerably if they are just given. Which you know if there was a trading system that would happen. "Well, I don't need this item any more, I got better and will never use it again. Here Merry Christmas." So, anyways, you asked for 2¢ and got 10¢. I hope you appreciate it. lol
