Well if the fusion rifle got nerfed it would be useless because if you don't hit them with it your pretty much dead unless you swap weapons or if they just suck & don't start shooting you or don't see you yet

Precisely. Can't nerf it or it will take more than 1 shot to kill them, making it useless
