Their not as hard as you think I've had a good amount of them would it be fair if I hadc30-40 PURPLE gear? It adds to the challenge of getting PURPLE loot

There are people who arent as lucky as you dude. Ive gotten 10 purple engrams and the only legendary item ive ever gotten has been from a blue engram

It's not luck as much as grinding mobs for best results

The difference being it is based on complete luck. Any complete noob who is terrible and doesn't even play often could get a legendary a thousand times but someone who genuinely puts time and effort in to the game has gotten none (speaking from experience) My crypt arch is now rank 12 i have decrypted that much crap and none of them turned to be purple and i've collected about a dozen 'legendary' engrams
