I've seen a lot of people rage about this in general for Crucible where those who are doing good get nothing noobs who do nothing get something. The fact is everything is random and Bungie has no priority system to reward the good players. It's a system where, people are rewarded for just participating. In my experience it's fair, sometimes I get into lobbies where I'm getting completely destroyed but am trying my best, I feel like i deserve a reward.
