We need the option to turn the music down. Or at least the game volume down. Cany hear fire teams over the sound of an orchestra or battle.
There is absolutly no reason to not have the option to turn down music or enviroment.
Sure you did it with othet games..... try change. Change works....
Or remove the orchrstra of constant annoyance
Your's truly,
A guy who now needs a hearing aid due to loud orchestra music playing for no reason.

Audio controls please!

Agreed

Year 2014, Next Gen, state-of-the-art Xbox One/PS4 Bungie technology isn't advanced enough to do sound options. ...Or split-screen. Or other basic video game standards.
-
Could you please edit this for professionalism? YOU'RE* Annoyance* Can't* Your's* No disrespect. But Bungie won't take things seriously if we don't treat this like we seriously want it. The inherent volume of the in game music and voice overs are hard to hear through when prepping for Strikes and Raids or just wanting to talk through the gun fire. I served my time in the military, I'd rather not emulate the experience so completely. lol

Please add this!!
-
Please tired of drums in my headphones. Bump
-
Yup. Just have some volume controls for music, voice, and sfx. Restore to default needs to be an option as well. I realize you guys (bungie) put a lot into fine tuning this stuff but it really needs to happen.
-
Agreed volume control .. i like hearing the footsteps of my enemies sneaking up on me but cant do that with lame arse music score playing every time combat starts.

Edited by DrDisastronaut: 9/19/2014 8:49:53 AMGet a headset? Btw Bungie with a headset plugged in I attempted to make the voice chat blended or speakers only and it would still only come through my headset Xbox one bug. It would only come through my speakers when the headset was unplugged.

Edited by TheTrashkage: 9/20/2014 12:04:09 PM~Signed~ I don't understand why this isn't already an option; seems like something that should just be in games... I mean, even flash games from first time programmers/developers have this option >.>
-
This should be standard nowadays, its 2014...
-
A fing Men! The music is so loud (super loud should never be the loud loud) during strike boss fights I can't hear the mobs, my fireteam, myself think.
-
Agreed.
-
+1 from me, its pretty epic but waaaaaay too loud!
-
I agree. Look its nice and all but we've heard all this music a million times already, let us turn off the annoying voiced Speaker for the Crucible.
-
Was on the moon and for like 15 minutes all I heard was ambiant sound with low hints of what might be music. But lord forbid when I play my music with the game on xbox ALL ambient sound is treated like music and removed so all you hear is gunfire. I dont even think I could hear foot steps or enemy sounds other then vocal and attacks. Do you know how insane this makes a person feel? I wouldnt mind a option for in game music actual music like intense gunfight or moral boosting music had option to over ride current playlist song to keep the stories depth but how am I supposed to connect with MY guardian when I cant play my music when things get silent? Or hear surrounding things minus ingame music when I play my own. Its not only a dissconnect like I should be hearing this thing hum even with music but objects like loot, ghosts and other subtle sounds to locate things vanish if you play your own music. That and when music seems to boom louder then gunfire and enemies yelling hell even headset if you got one you need sound options.
-
Agreed, def need to get sound options asap.

Edited by Genesiser1: 9/19/2014 10:47:29 AMI'm not sure about the other systems, but I know for the xbox 360 you can turn the game audio down via system settings if it's too hard to hear the people over the microphone or tv. I know it'd be better to have an in game option, but at least for now you can change the game sound levels.

I've had a few moments in that big guys cave where it gets laouder than my fire team, music and sound effects could be a touch lower
-
There really is no reason I can think of why sound options shouldn't be in the game, hopefully this is able to be added to the game in the near future.
-
totally signing this........ i have enough of boooboooooboobuuuuuummm ....
