K/D in crucible ? L o L
-
It's more important to get them W's! Even if it'll cost you some deaths. Only kids care about KD Ratio. Fact.
-
Getting more kills than deaths is an indicator of a good player. Fact.
-
Can't argue with that.
-
Sorry HoboBoxes, but that is not a fact in the slightest. Have you ever watched an MLG match of any game? Not everyone in the match goes positive, in fact, most of them don't. However, they are still great players. Players who consistently win are good, players that get tons of kills and low deaths aren't necessarily good.
-
Both clash and control depends on kills, nothing is purely objective based. So yeah in PVP kills me everything to this game
-
Overall k/d ratio against bad players in mm should be positive
-
That's very true. If you're constantly playing bad kids in the Crucible, I'd hope your K/D would be positive. That's the thing though, not every match is just bad kids. And no matter how good you are, there's always a time when you'll choke, there's always a time when you'll get outnumbered, and there's always a time when your connection will lag. It happens and if it results in a poor K/D, that doesn't mean you're bad.
-
Kinda does. This game has a very low skill floor. Pretty easy to get kills
-
Yeah that didn't disprove anything I just said so stfu.
-
-
It's all about the playstyle though. Anyone can be anything and still have a terrible K/D ratio! :)
-
FYI- The only time I play Crucible is when there are bounties for partaking in them. This advice is almost exclusive to high level PVE content, specifically Heroics, Nightfalls and Raids. I could care less about my KDR, I don't need to sling my e-peen because my real one is big enough, thank you very much. Up until now you're the only person who's had a negative response to this which precipitates the fact that you're nothing but a keyboard warrior and a joke. If you can come up with better advice, I'm sure we'd all love to hear it...but then again we all know you're probably not going to do that since you're just a KDR whore/dickhead...so I'll mute you and move on with the rest of my life. But before I do, here's some advice to you specifically...don't put your KDR on your resume. It's not that serious. ;)
-
He has a point. You haven't done a raid or a nightfall, have a terrible K/D a and you're 21. If you haven't experienced this content, why did you write this guide
-
Taking K/D as the only measure to the validity of someone's advice. Nuff said.

Edited by Why_Should_l_Try: 9/17/2014 12:44:25 PMI really wish you would link your character to Bungie so I could judge you by your stats. (Edit) Oop! Found it. 0.66 K/D in crucible... Mm, now I understand why you try to defend him.
-
I think OP has some solid advice, please inspect my KD as well. Like I give a damn. Good advice is good advice, regardless of who it comes from.
-
Well it's a direct indicator of how often they play with the skill of a potato. In OPs case, often.

Edited by Malismo: 9/17/2014 10:43:03 AMMaybe he/she plays in a organized group and is designated bait and they are successful playing as a team as such, you don't know. Besides it is an average, it will take a long time to "repair", if one started out bad, because of acclimatization issues. That's why K/D does not say anything by itself.
-
I play in an organised group. You don't need bait if you can all just go above 2kd every game. Bottom line, OP is bad, and most of his advice is bad.
-
Actually his advice isn't bad at all. I've seen many great PVP players play in a group in PVE and be the worst in the group. PVP call of duty style is a whole different game than PVE content.
-
On the contrary, when it comes to the heroic strikes for higher levels, those are pretty much universal tactics for not getting your ass kicked by some douche bag wizards and the like. Hunter 101 xD

Edited by Malismo: 9/17/2014 10:58:42 AMK/D fetishism, good for you. I suggest you don't bug others with it or when you do at least keep an open mind to a different view, yours is not the only one and certainly not the best one, at least in my opinion. And guess what, you having a "super awesome" K/D does not make your opinion better than anyone else's, including mine. At least offer better advice then, not just state that the OP's K/D is maybe not as high as you think it should be, as it stands you are being far from constructive in your critisms.
