You just answered your whole post. If you rather not get any loot, then your stats would be your own reward. So what does it matter then if random loot drops? Your stats are still yours.

He's saying, since this is the way it is, then players who do well should be rewarded. He would rather no one get gear, but since this system is in place, it should be better and reward the players who do well. The system is too random honestly. A lot of gear is too random. Deej and Bungie said they don't want you to be able to trade because we want you to EARN what you get but then they drop random legendaries to people going 5 kills and 15 deaths in a crucible match. It doesn't make sense. Put trading in the game because a lot of people aren't really earning their gear as it is.

This I can kinda agree on. Hell give everyone loot. Since some matches it happens. But make it where only the great players get the better loot.
