How can i forgive your ranting if you rant anyway? Yea sure it should be earned but some of us enjoy the raw luck and random earnings we need. I'm sure you get the random rewards too.

The top people on the loosing team get gear sometimes, SOMETIMES, but the top people in the winning team get nothing. It's bullshit. After multiple crucible games, I decided it wasn't worth it. Not that the loot is any more fair to skilled players on strikes and such. My friends who suck balls at this game got legendary gear first time in the crucible (he was last on the winning team) how the -blam!- does anyone even think this system makes sense? You get a reward for blowing a match?
