Seriously, if the topic needs explaining then you're a moron, plain and simple....

For some reason mine didn't. That's my excuse.
-
I wish my ps4 came with headset I had to use the one I used for ps3 better than nothin I suppose
-
You would have to knock me out and super glue it to my ear. Would never use that piece of shit mainly because I don't use the TV speakers. I just picked up the PS Golds. They are very good. But why invite someone to your fireteam if they don't have a Mic and your at them to have one. I don't care if someone has a Mic or not. Its skill that matters

Edited by NeXuS: 9/16/2014 3:26:22 PMHonestly mate, this isn't a game that requires a mic. Skill is skill. This isn't wow. I've done literally everything so far including weekly nightfall without anyone even using one. Some people just don't like mics.

Dude.. I play in Germany. This means I will get connected to people from the whole EU when I play Destiny. I have a mic, but most of the time I don't like to use it because my english isn't that good, other peoples english is often even worse and yeah.. it just makes things complicated in my opinion. I also only use mine when I'm playing with people I know. I'm just not a big fan of "talking to random strangers on the internet for no reason". I think Destiny is no game that requires the use of your headset/mic. Strikes are simple as soon as you know what you're doing. These heroic quests aren't that hard either. I don't even think you would need a mic for Destinys raid content. I didn't try it because I don't know enough people who own Destiny on Xbox One.. but to be honest: I do not really care. I couldn't see me play something like this for long, so.. whatever. But I saw a little bit about Destinys raid content on Youtube. It seems like the game just splits your group here and there. As soon as everyone knows how one of those raid dungeons works everything will be fine.. with or without communication. In the end there are only two things that really matter. The one thing is skill. If you are good, then you are good :p The other thing is experience. If you are good and know what you are doing you are a powerfull ressource for your fireteam. If you just know a dungeon, keep blabbling and cursing on your mic and die all the time because you are just bad.. then you are the one who holds your squad back. It's not like using a mic makes the difference between success and failure. Skill and experience.. that's what really matters. Take me for an exsample. I've played a lot of strike missions so far. Most of the time I kill more on myself then the rest of my firesquad kills together. Also I am always keeping an eye out for them, try to support them as best I can and yeah.. I know I'm not bad, I know those strikes and I am a teamplayer. I think most people are fine with me in their firesquad, even if I am not using my mic to talk to them. To be honest.. I never met someone in Destiny who used his/her mic so far. I also don't think it's nessesary. Sometimes it may have it's advantages to use your mic, for exsample when you have to go afk for a few secs because that stupid real life calls and tells you "I want you back for a moment!".. but that's all the advantage I can see. Destiny still is a shooter. Looking out for each other and yourself is the key to success..

I'd rather wear headphones!
-
What?
-
Maybe people don't want to talk to a crazy yelling fuçk. That cheap "headset" is cheap like I said so it brakes.
-
I accidentally threw mine out while cleaning the house. I don't get paid enough to throw away cash on a new headset until tax return rolls by. You don't need a headset to shoot at weak points and watch for adds.
-
Let me clarify...yes..I invite them to the fire team...there is a reason I bought this game and a headset, and played the beta, etc. And as you can clearly see by the responses, there are plenty who "refuse" or don't use a mic...so again...in a social game...where A MIC HELPS. Get one...or go back to battlefield.
-
Party chat killed in game chat, never been the same since
-
GET A CAPS LOCK AND TURN IT OFF!! THE ONE THAT CAME WITH YOUR COMPUTER/DEVICE IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!
-
For those of you that want use a headset good luck with raids your going to need it.
-
sorry, strapped for cash right now, next payday though, that white headset is mine
-
Yeah .. More reason to never put that thing on .
-
Anti-Social mofo's on social gaming<<<<< Seriously though I know what you mean lmao guess their not people friendly?
-
not everyone likes mics. I never use mine on xbox unless in party chat with friends. have no desire to talk to random players. Everyone is muted and voice set to 0 when I play alone. Much more enjoyable this way enjoying game audio over screaming.
-
Actually that's what I use, the little ear bud thing that came with it. It actually works well.
-
You can't hear people that aren't in your fireteam.
-
add me Aliens4ever117 u need to be in a fireteam
