Your opinion about Destiny so far.
Honestly, my opinion on the game is great, it's more than I expected out of it. I haven't thought about touching an xbox for years now and this game made me want to play again.
Leave your opinions on the game, your changes you would make to the game, and the things that really spring out to you.

Love it! Not big into PVP so I hope they develop the rest of it a bit more. But if it were not to change I would not say I was terribly disappointed.

1 ReplyI like Destiny a lot. The gameplay feels great. The constant upgrading and leveling keeps me trying new things. The only complaints I have are with communication. There should be chat available in PvP to more than just your friended fire team. There also should be an optional "chat room" in the tower. If not multiple rooms. Let us choose to not communicate with other unknown players. Don't just assume its best for all of us to stay silent. And I would like to see an option to look for randoms to play missions with outside of strikes. Even if we could set our character to "Team up?" as we walk around the tower. A note or symbol over our heads saying your looking for a team to party up with. That way like minded players know to approach and possibly join us on our journey. Even if its only for a day. Its kinda hard to make new friends on this game. I have tons of friends from past games but getting all of us on here at the same time can be a challenge at times.

I'm only part way through the moon missions and I've gone back to Watch Dogs. The missions are all *exactly* the same: Head out, find bad guys along the way and kill, find mission goal, deploy ghost/kill baddies or kill baddies/deploy ghost, rinse, repeat. Same exact thing over and over and over. I get that this is a FPS, but come on. Some variation and actual interesting missions would be really nice. Plus the environments are utterly devoid of anything but nice graphics. I can't interact with anything, the worlds are completely sterile and boring. There's paths that lead all over but never go anywhere interesting, there's caves with invisible walls at the mouth or that are empty, there's buildings I can't go into or get on top of... so vanilla. I want to love Destiny, but it's losing me fast.

5 RepliesI liked the gameplay, but unfortunately I've been experiencing tons of connectivity issues since I live on a college campus, so my opinion of this game isn't very high because I can't play it. Barely got through the intro mission. I really hope Destiny won't be this game that encourages others to become online-only.
