While we are at it, let's just make all future expansions and DLC free.
I mean, Bungie employee's don't need to survive right?

Dude their old game had more story paying 60 bucks for a lacking story isnt surviving its robbing
-
Their old games were also standard Single player/multiplayer games. Destiny is completely different in design and structure.

Yet worked on maybe longer than halo 1 come on man dont mindlessly defend it there are bad things

Edited by Luckdog26: 9/16/2014 1:49:02 AMThere is a difference between mindlessly defending something, and deliberately picking out the bad things just for the sake of it. I prefer to see Destiny for what it is, a great achievement, and a great basis to a new IP which is going to grow and evolve over time. In a year, this game will be completely different. The original WoW was crap and absolutely NOTHING like today's version. I came into Destiny with the correct expectations, I knew it was a new IP, I played the Beta, I knew what to expect. I wasn't disappointed at all. Unlike everyone else who played the game, I did not expect it to be a gaming revolution on day one. So yes, I will defend it, not mindlessly, but because it deserves to be defended against the mindless bullcrap people are saying about it which is not justified at all.

Im with you on that i love the game but dont defend it when there are obviously things that need to be worked on im not gonna fanboy just cause its bungie its a great game with great post launch potential but lacking
-
Yeah but like I said, you can choose to focus on the good things or the bad things. If you want to focus on the bad things then great. But I chose to forgive them because the rest of the game is so damn fun. To be completely honest I didn't even notice anything 'bad' until I came online a few days after launch and found the shit storm of negative comments on this forum. It was only then that I started to actually think about what lacks in the game, which is a shame.

Im focused on the good i love this game but theres also a difference between complaining and providing honest feedback, if you hit many dead ends in the game world like i have then you would see why its lacking and if that doesnt bother you then gratz for being pleases with a 60$ game with many deas end areas

Game developers have been surviving for decades before DLC.
-
They also never created post launch content either. Expansion packs for games were still sold at a price even back then. Moral of the story is. A developer can't work on creating content without adequate money coming in to fund that content.
-
Don't worry, they made enough money off of half a game to retire.
-
Agreed.

This.
