One of my buddies is having a similar problem. We can't use in-game chat because of that. I've seen similar complaints on the internet and haven't seen a viable solution yet. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

This is still happening for me. Once in a blue moon I'll have chat but mostly I get the errors and no chat. I often have to get it to check my plus status before allowing certain levels too.
