I realize you are on a college campus, but try following all the steps you can in this article.

i did all that and it doesn't work. even port forwarding and static ips and reinstalling and restarting and all of that does nothing. i got a ghost edition and the only thing that works is the toy. all my other devices and games work perfectly - how come Destiny is the only thing that refuses to work? The only problem with following the help in that article is that those of us on the internet provided by a college campus do not have direct access to our router/modem. We can't exactly walk in to the main server building and shut off the internet to the entire campus in a vain attempt at fixing this issue.
-
I realize this. However, please keep in mind that this is a local network issue, and the provided link is the solution provided by Bungie to resolve the issue. There is nothing I can do beyond pointing you in the right direction.

I'm not sure what to do, I'm in the same boat. I live on campus and I can't connect where I could before. I can log in and use other online services/games just fine, but can't on Destiny. Can someone please advise? I've already followed the troubleshooting guide as far as I'm able from my end.

I have read a little more and it is apparently due to the recent patch that they had on day one. With this patch it cut off many internet providers. For example mine is Korcett and it was affected by this update. So I guess all I can wait for is the next patch.
-
Ah, mine is the same provider. In a fit of frustration, I simply unplugged the PS4 while Destiny was sitting idle at the title screen. I did the same for the switch I'm using. After safe mode test, I was able to log in again. One thing I'd like to add is that I can't connect to the game via a physical connection for some reason, it has to be wifi.
-
I have followed those steps many times and I continue to get the same results. At one point the game did allow me to play but it was only for a brief amount of time.
-
Unfortunately, this is the only advice I can offer, as Marionberry is a local network settings error.
-
Well thanks for the try. Much appreciated

Same problem here bud nothing to do but wait. Can't be -blam!-ed up forever
