Gamestop tonight...
So Saturday I got a text from gamestop saying "Your Destiny avail 12:01AM Tue. Arrive 10 pm mon to finalize payment..." I called today to find out what this means since I had completely paid off the pre-order and expansion pass already in cash. The nice rep said that what they are doing is between 6-10pm tonight people can come into the store, finalize or verify payment and get a finalized receipt with a sticker showing you are there only to pick up a copy, not pay, upgrade, or add on anything. This group will be in a separate line from the "still need to pay or other Schmitt" line and will solely be showing the finalized receipts and being thrown what they ordered. She said this allows people who are fully paid to go home, eat, do something else rather than just stand in line all evening. Kind of sweet, though I know some of you think this is unfair. Thoughts?

I got the same thing but the rep I got want so nice about it. Knowing this I can tell my friend that he might buy the game in full tomorrow probably. To give you guys why my friend is buying my pre-order is because that's what I originally ordered the limited and found a ghost and preordered that eddition at best buy. Game stop was my fall back if anything happens and looks like I don't the fallback. So my friend who couldn't find a copy has one.

i have no problem giveing priority to those who have the game paid off for a few reasones first off the game is already yours you have a recipt its legaly yours when midnight hits... 2nd those who have to put money on it will cause lines to be slower and thus hold up everyone

2 RepliesIt pays off to arrive at 6. My gamestop did this for the midnight release of ps4 and I was like #12 in line. Needless to say, I was super happy to just show up at 11:50 and not have to wait in line for hours.
