Consider lobbying the International Astronomical Union (IAU) to change the planets name to something that isn't a 6 year old's joke? XD

In the late 1700's, historians would initially want to call the planet Georgium Sidus, in honor of King George III. When Uranium was discovered on the planet, they opted for the name Uranus, which is also an alternative variant of Ouranos, the greek god of the skies. Basically, Uranus should NOT be disallowed from the game, it's very much a part of our history :)

Interesting historical context. +1, like. I can't get behind the "it's part of our history" argument though. Plenty of things in history should probably not be OK for a game. In this context I think it holds a bit of water. However, I've heard it used to defend the dissemination of some truly odious ideas under the cover of "it's our history/heritage." P.S. kids, it's prounced ur-uh-nas by the astronomers. Not yor-ay-nus like a troglodyte.

Edited by YogurtStorm: 9/3/2014 8:15:08 PMThink of it this way: During the Golden Age, Uranus was a prominent stop in humanity's travels. It revealed many (though not all) of its secrets to the cosmonauts. It became habitable, cozy. That is, until the Darkness made its way over. Who is going to reclaim Uranus if not a specialized Guardian task force specifically trained for this matter?
