Let's all keep in mind that most "christian themes" predate christianity.

For any who are uncertain of this poster's reference, many religions share some common themes. A savior is born, often to a virgin, on December 25 and three esteemed figures like kings or wise men follow a star to the savior's location. This is almost certainly a reference to the times before religion as we know it was a thing and people worshiped the sun. The dates and characters in most religion's version of the story are probably referencing the time when the sun (savior born to a virgin, how did it get there?) has apparently "come to earth" due to the solstice and the North star is in syzygy between Orion's belt (three kings) and the sun, giving the impression of the three esteemed figures following a star to find the savior. Most religions that share the aforementioned characteristics for their savior also have their savior dying and being reborn three days later, and all of their stories coincide with astrological and seasonal phenomena that occur around what is now known as the March equinox.

  • That's because that is Satan's plan: 'Having many religions exist and most of them being 'similar' to Christianity but differently from the real thing, TURNING AWAY from GOD in practicing other False...' (I'm sorry for being Offensive.)

  • Christian Themes predate christianity,... Before Christianity there was Jewish Worship of God,... Before The Jewish Church was the Isrealite family and there worship of God. Before the Isrealite family was the Ledgen of Moses and the World wide flood that all most every tye of worship has today. So Yes there are a lot of Themes that predate christianity and are adopted buy other types of worship. Destiny is a game for every type of person to care for everyone. Adding a form of worship makes a lot of sence if you want people to keep playing long after Destiny has stoped being Trendy and we are all waiting for the next game add-on. We could just worship the Traveler in the mean time.

  • I would Not WORSHIP the Traveler and the Light. More like studying it as any other Warlock and using the perks of being a near-immortal Light-Bearer.
